Our sector is seeking a:

Product & Sales Manager - - Classe 8 ((G3))

Lieu de travail : 5, avenue Pie X, Victoriaville (Québec) G6P 7W7

Statut : Permanent, Full Time, 

Work Location: To be confirmed.

Status: Permanent, Full time. Frequent travel across Canada (50% of the time).



Reporting to the Seeds Director, you will occupy a key strategic position. In addition to having a clear understanding of the product portfolio, sales strategy and vision for the sector, you will have the ability to identify, plan, and implement alignment and growth opportunities across Canada.

Primary responsibilities include:    

  • Ensuring the implementation of a Canada-wide growth strategy and ensuring sales force operational excellence;
  • Management and development of the product range distributed at the national level to meet growth objectives;
  • Monitoring and analyzing trending and emergent market needs, analyze industry trends, competitive offers, as well as customer needs to identify business opportunities;
  • Overseeing product positioning and marketing, planning and annual execution of marketing programs with the agricultural marketing team, and monitor the return on investment of various initiatives;
  • Continuously analyzing and evaluating opportunities and coordinate feasibility analysis;
  • Conducting budget planning and monitoring for ongoing projects;
  • Impact analysis of implemented strategies on business results.



  • You hold a bachelors’ degree in agronomy and have complementary training in sales, marketing, or other equivalent experience;
  • You have solid experience and knowledge concerning Farm supply;
  • You have accrued at least 7 years of relevant experience;
  • You are adept at using MS Office suite, especially Excel;
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards and Access is an asset;
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and French;
  • A focus on teamwork, ability to work autonomously, are rigorous with strong analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills;
  • You demonstrate excellent business acumen and have strong negotiation and persuasion skills;
  • You are results-oriented and are able to work under pressure.
